Hot Wings Buffalo Dip

I’m not normally a fan of hot and spicy but I love me some buffalo wings! This is the perfect dip. It combines the ranch, the spicy hot sauce and the chicken all together in a delicious, gooey dip.

Hot Wings Buffalo Dip

2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese at room temperature

8 oz. bottle Ranch dressing

12 oz. hot wing sauce

3 cups grilled chicken, cubed (I use the bagged chicken that is already cooked- 2 bags)

2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

  1. Combine cream cheese, Ranch dressing, and hot wing sauce. Mix well.
  2. Add chicken and Cheddar cheese. Pour into a greased baking dish.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
  4. Serve warm with tortilla chips and celery.

You can also make it in a crockpot. Cook on low for 2-4 hours. I usually bake it and then transfer to a crockpot to keep it warm.

  1. Ya know – growing up and living a mere 60 miles from Buffalo and having eaten my fair share of chicken wings (maybe my wife’s fair share too) – I have to add that using ranch dressing instead of bleu cheese is bordering on sacrilegious.

I’ll grant you that the ranch alternative on wings might taste good (I’ll never know) and people can pick what ever they like for their dipping options, but it ain’t Buffalo wings without the bleu.

Please note that this entire note was written using the sarcasm/humor font. Otherwise I’d never be able to enjoy that garlic/parmesan wing option my favorite pizza shop has. With bleu cheese dressing.

    1. Now you’re just being ridiculous! Ranch dressing is a gift from the gods.

I don’t mind bleu cheese crumbles but I’m not a fan of the dressing. Give me ranch dressing any day. If it’s wrong I don’t want to be right.
