Hallmark Needs a New Card Section

Buying a card was a little difficult. I think maybe they should have a section labeled: After an affair. All of the whole soul mate, you complete me, my life is so much better with you, I enjoy absolutely every single second I spend with you, we’ve taken this remarkable journey together, I love you more now than ever really needs to go. I cannot stand the soul mate bullshit. I need something like: Here we all are after all these years. We’ve made it through periods of profound unhappiness. We even made it despite your affair and the fact you swore you were in love with someone else and wanted to marry her. On this Valentine’s Day let’s celebrate the fact we’ve toughed it out when others might have thrown in the towel. Hell, maybe next year I’ll just make my own.
